"My Poker Resume"

I began playing poker in 2004 while stationed in Iraq, serving in the USMC. We
mostly played dealers choice, wild cards, etc. About the same time as this Chris
Moneymaker had won the WSOP main event. I was on the Internet a lot at the
time and noticed the growing popularity of No Limit Holdem.  We stopped playing
dealers choice and started playing NLHE. I Instantly fell in love with the game.

Then I learned about online poker. After being discharged from the Marines, I
continued to play recreational online and in a lot of live games. I made close to
25k over 4 years. Playing HUSNG's and MTT's.  Squeezed out a 3rd place finish
in the UB 200kguar for 18K in 2008.

In 2009 I quit my full-time job, decided to take a part-time job and focus more
on Poker. While working at my part-time job I met Greg "HokieGreg" Tiller, he
offered me a good rate in exchange for live coaching/staking. Charley "PHMERC"
Thomashower moved to Richmond to work with HokieGreg about this same time.
I worked with both of them for 2 years on HUSNG strategy and poker theory.
During this time I profited around 50k between live and online play.

I currently play $100-$200 NLHE HUSNGS on the merge network, and still
receive coaching from HokieGreg and PHMERC. I have read about 25-30 books
pertaining to poker skills, and have spent countless hours discussing poker
strategy with well established players.
